The Fields aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma are for Active Duty Military and their families. Intramurals and Youth Sports Programs have priority at all times. Retirees and Civilians, who work on base, can reserve the fields based on availability and approval from the Athletic Department. Depending on the reason for the field reservation, there may or may not be a charge as well.
The lights on the majority of the fields are remotely controlled. Once you receive confirmation that your Field Reservation has been made, the lights will be programmed to come on 15 minutes prior to your start time and go off 15 minutes after your end time.
Currently there are only two locations that the lights are not remotely controlled and they are:
Softball Field 555 and The Turf Arena at the Memorial Complex.
Field Reservations must be made 48 hours prior to the requested date.
Special Event Reservations must be made 7 Calendar days prior to the event.

The MCAS Yuma 1st Annual Telegraph Pass Challenge is the premier event for bikers and runners. Participating in a duathlon style challenge, participants will start cycling at 7 am, and then make their way up and down Telegraph Pass on foot. The course will include a Blue Mile, which is a portion of the challenge with a moment of silence to honor and remember our fallen heroes of the Military, Police, and Fire department. The top 3 finishers in each category (Male/Female, age, etc.) will receive a top prize and recognition. Run-only Telegraph Challenge is available for participants as well, with their own top 3 male / female finishers and prizes.
